Anyway- quick update- I now live in Indiana with my step-dad where I am about to complete my first semester at Ball State. Great news from finals week- I got an A on my health final! YAY! Christmas is coming and the goose is getting fat. I'm driving back to Iowa on saturday to be with Mikey! I'm uber excited for that and I can't wait to give people their Christmas gifts- I love giving gifts because a.) I'm good at it and b.) I love getting people things they actually want but didn't ask for, and then seeing their reaction when they open it. Christmas will be wierd this year because Caryn and Dave won't be there and no one is going to mom's until the morning of the 26th. We always have Christmas at mom's on the 26th but we usually congregate the night before because that's sort of our Christmas Eve and mom likes to watch It's a Wonderful Life. Ralph and I will be the only ones there That's ok though because Christmas at my mom's is always the shit! She does so much to make sure everyone is pleased and has a good time which we always do.

There is a strange cult-horror movie that I heard about a long time ago but never saw called 2001 Maniacs . It's that horror style where it's scary but cheesy but meaning to be cheesy not really cheesy. Anyway- It's on one of the movie channels at like 1 in the morning tonight so I'm going to stay up and watch it. I love watching movies I've never seen before because that doesn't happen very often. Well, so long.

PS- another udate: I now have a pooch named Wally and he is the best pooch is all the land.

Wally's words of wisdom for the day: Don't bite on your own tail because it hurts!

Thursday, June 01, 2006

Wow- It's been a while and my sister Caryn politely pointed that out to me this past weekend when we all got together at my mom's house. So, my summer class started last night. I think it will be really challenging (biology ) but at the same time, the people in the class seem really nice. Plus, the lecture portion is on the internet but the lab part is on campus. It's pretty nice because we each get our own table with our own microscope and lap top with wireless internet! Ok, now I sound like a nerd. It's gonna be pretty hard to pay attention with internet Boggle will be calling my name all class .

I went shopping the other day and got two new books: Lucky and Haunted. The latter is pretty interesting thus far. It's by Chuck Palhunick (author of Fight Club) and it's about a group of writers who are going away on a writing retreat... little do they know they are really apart of an experiment. The teacher of the course locks them in and turns off the power and stops giving them food. The book is a compiling of stories people locked in wrote while on the retreat from hell. It's pretty wierd because as more and more time pasts, the stories get stranger and stranger.

I also bought the movies Waiting (frickin' hilarious , especially if you've ever worked in the food industry), Spun (crazy movie that follows a college dropout over the course of three days while he chauffers a crystal meth chef around the city to gather ingredients), and Almost Famous which is a personal fav. Mmmmm... Billy Crudup .... Speaking of Billy Crudup, everyone should check out his latest MI:3 with wacky Tom Cruise . I also recently saw a movie called Jesus's Son starring Billy and it's very very good.

Anyway, that's all for now!

Tuesday, February 07, 2006

Hay- yo.

School is gettin' pretty thick, yucky. Mike and I saw Hostel and When a Stranger Calls last night. Hostel = When a Stranger Calls = But the latter was better than the first. They were both pretty bad but at least When a Stranger Calls was entertaining. I don't see what the big hooplah about Hostel was. People went to the hospital from reactions from the initial screenings... Why? It was lame. Well, it would be sweet if you're into serious gore disappointments. Plus Emily told me it was really gory so I figured I could have that to look forward to- but nada. There was one good scene where the main character has to cut someone's eye off that had popped out of it's socket, but the only really stiffling scene had to do with someone puking- not the blood or anything. Lame-o. When will someone make a good horror movie? We can't all rely on Rob Zombie to do EVERYTHING!

Friday, January 13, 2006

Me bored... :(

I had loads of HW so I stayed home to work while Mike went out to play In fact, I'm all alone right now in the house and it's really windy outside and it sounds scary

Earlier today, ma mere came to visit and we went to Wal-Mart and bummed around. Then I made her and Mike din-din: marinated chicken boobs, corn, green beans, croissants, and stuffing. It was good... I mean really good. Then mom and I watched a movie after Mike went to work. Then she left too and I was all alone You'd think I'd get used to being alone by now, but I'm not.

It's about 78% official that I will be transfering to Ball State in the fall. This is sad news yet good news. I'm excited to get started down there and not have to pay for an effin' thing but I don't want to leave Mike even though I get the distinct impression that he sees me leaving as a good thing.

Only time will tell...

Thursday, January 12, 2006

Yo.

It's been awhile!! Welp, school started. It's going pretty well so far but it is only the first week. We (meaning Emily and I) went to Sharky's on Monday where Mike and Curtis were because it was Leroy's 21st, and needless to say: he was bombed! But hey, what's your 21st for anyway?

I haven't been able to spend a lot of time with Mike because of us going to school on a REGULAR basis this semester so that kind of sucks. We rented a couple of movies the other night: Four Brothers which was surprisingly good and Dark Water which was unsurprisingly bad. For some reason, everytime a horror movie comes out I was have to see it even though 9 times out of 10, it's bad. For instance, we went to see Wolf Creek over break which was supposed to be one of the scariest movies of all time blah blah blah blah blah blah. It was based on a true story so I read up on it and anything and a.) didn't follow the true story and b.) not scary and c.) the characters didn't even meet the bad guy until an hour into the movie which left about 30 minutes for midless crap. Hopefully Hostel will prove to be much better, but I'm guessing it's going to be disappointing.

Anyway- peash out!

Tuesday, November 08, 2005

So for those of you who don't know: The Devil's Rejects came out to own today. Technically it came out at midnight last night. I should know because Mike and I drove all the way to WalMart at midnight last night to get it. I had called earlier in the day to ask if they were going to put them out then, so we went but they were so busy putting out Charlie and the fucking Chocolate Factory that we waited around for like a half hour until we finally just asked someone to grab us two copies. Bad news bears starring Walter Mattheau: they only had the full screen addition which I hate so I didn't end up buying it. Luckily Mike did and we watched it with Beau when we got home. That was after we stopped for McDonald's of course!

So, I'm started school again full-time in January and I'm hella excited. It will give me something to do other than watch court shows all day. I'm at Mike's right now and his room stinks. It doesn't even jsut smell bad, it literally smells like poop in here. Hmmm... maybe Mike pooped the bed.

Shout out to Ginn-ay. What up lady!!?!

Monday, September 26, 2005

yoyo.

-b.

Sunday, September 18, 2005

Welp,

Emily and I headed back to Dubuque yesterday. I had a good time with Dad. We cruised around in the rag-top all day. (Also, I drove home with the top down and with a swimsuit on and got a tan.) Anyway- dad and I went to Cold Stone Creamery. Then we ae dinner and The Athenian Grill. Yum yum. Dad goes in there so often that they started making his food as soon as he came in the door. It was cute.

Dubuque is retarded. Any hatred I had for that town multiplied by 10 this weekend. Seriously, Emily and I drove around from about 8:00 PM until 2:00 AM and did nothing but stop by Kelly's apartment for about 10 minutes and go to the A&B Tap on Central. That was ok. Some of the old gang was down there. It's so wierd because no one is a "gang" anymore. Everyone kind of went their seperate ways after high school. We saw Al, Cookie, Julie, Jordan and some other people. It was ok but Jordan was being really creepy. We also went to see Kalyn's pregnant ass. She's so cute. Emily bought her the book Jenny McCarthy wrote about being pregnant called 'Belly Laughs'. It was pretty funny from what I read out of it.

Kalyn looks really good and healthy. I'm happy for her. I finally got Kristina's number from Julie!! Thank god because I've been trying to get ahold of her for a long time and I just found out she also is pregnant and almost due! Jeez- it's been way too long. I'm a bad friend.

Saturday, September 17, 2005

Hello loyal readers.

I had a really good time last night. First of all, Mike went to Iowa City last night for the Iowa/UNI game. This isn't the reason I had a good time, but I'm really glad I decided not to go because last weekend was so lame. Anyway, Emily and I drank a little bit at her apartment and watch The Girls Next Door of E!. I love that show and for those of you who don't watch it, it's a reality show about Hugh Heffner and his three live-in girlfriends, Holly, Bridget, and Kendra. It's a really cute show.

Back to the point: I had maybe one beer and then Andria came home and we all did a shot. Vodka. Yum/Yuck. We went up to Tony's to see what was goin' on and ended up seeing a lot of people we know. Mainly Shonnie and Champ. It was fun! We ended up leaving with Shonnie and Champ and drove to Waterloo to Champ's to hang out. We all watched Bad Boys Dos and kicked it and just reminisced about old times.

It was fun to drive my car somewhere. Emily and I are leaving at about 1:00 for Dubuque. I'm excited to see my dad. It's too bad we can't stay longer than we are but I think I'm going to go back next weekend with Mike so he can spend some time with my dad and whatnot.

I'm attempting to watch seasons one and two of Nip/Tuck before the new season starts on the 20th but at Blockbuster you have to rent each disc seperatly and it's a pain in the ass. I finished disc one out of five but everytime I go there to get the second disc they're out of it. I don't want to watch it out of order! It's such a good show.

That's all for now. See y'all!

Thursday, September 15, 2005

So, I'm almost done at Tony's. Not permenantly, but I'm cutting down to just Sunday and Monday nights. Hopefully I hear back from Claire's soon. I'm going to go to U.S. Cellular and fill out an application also.

Last night we, meaning me, Beau, Mike, Shelton, and Jason went to the Sport's Page in Waterloo. Allen was working. It was kareoke night and some of the people were pretty funny. Shelton and this other dude from his work did their rendition of Country Grammer. HILARIOUS. Shelton knows how to work a crowd!

We went home after that and the boys freestyled to some instrumentals. Shelton talked to me about a track he's been working on and needs a female voice on it. He asked me to do it! That should be fun but I bet it won't get done for a long time because I've seen the boys' work habits when it comes to recording.

I think we're going to take it easy tonight. Mike has a test tomorrow.

I'd like to give a shoutout to my sister Ginny whom I haven't talked to in a long time. HELLO GIN!!

I haven't talked to Caryn in a while either but that's my bad. I just never have time to actually sit down a call people. I should work on that.

Welp, see yall later!
